About:

Adam is a composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. He is the director of Clockwork Sessions and conductor of the Scottish Session Orchestra working with composers such as Hans Zimmer, Christian Henson, Jim Fowler, Craig Armstrong and Thomas Hewitt-Jones. He has conducted scores to films such as 'Dune' (2020), 'Outlaw King' (2019), and 'Our Ladies' (2019 ) as well as broadcasts on Classic FM (Thomas Hewitt-Jones) and BBC Radio 3 with Seonaid Aitken's album 'What is this thing called Love?'. Adam was also the cover conductor for the Lion King UK tour (Disney) and has recently conducted sessions in London for Vivum Music.

As well as conducting and arranging scores for the Scottish Session Orchestra, Adam's composition work for Film and TV scores includes arranging the orchestral score and composing additional music for 'Outlaw King'  (Netflix 2019) and 'Relay' (David Mackenzie 2024), as well as orchestration and score preparation for  the BBC series 'Inside  No.9' (Christian Henson, Air-Edel - 2021/24).  

He has also arranged music for jazz artists Chris Montague and Kit Downes (ECM) as well as a composition for a jazz orchestra led by Steve Berry.
